News – 6 December 2020
The first weekend in December saw very wet and cold conditions for the
Chilly duathlon and 10k. But that didn’t stop Esther Frawley and Anne Clark from braving the elements. It was Esther’s first outing since early September as she has been away at Uni and has been fitting her training around settling in there. She beat her previous time from February by over 8 minutes. Great result!
Anne got an injury at the end of her first run but battled on to come 3rd in her age category, just 12 seconds off 2nd. She also put in one of the fastest female bike splits of the day.
In the Chilly 10k Sarah Jeffries achieved a fabulous 10k PB by around 3 minutes. What a great run by Sarah. All the hard work is paying off.
